A USI is a reference number made up of numbers and letters that gives students access to their USI account and their nationally recognised training records in Australia.

RSA RCG Warning

If you completed the RSA or RCG in the last 5 years, your licence will still be valid even if you have not yet applied for the Photo Card using your ‘Interim Certificate’ (Click Here for FAQ’s). Fees will apply if you continue and subsequently found to have a valid licence.

Summary Terms and Conditions

Your booking is not guaranteed until payment has been received.  (excluding approved invoice clients)

  1. Once course fees are paid they are valid for 30 days from date of payment unless otherwise stated.
  2. Students are entitled to a full refund of their course fees, if a request is received in writing to within the first 24 hours following the time of payment of course fees. ('24 hour cooling off period').
  3. After the expiry of the '24 hour cooling off period', course fees are non-refundable but they are transferable to your nominee. (See Student Handbook for One day Courses can be viewed in the footer on our website in the downloads section).
  4. Rescheduling a classroom or virtual classroom course is accepted without additional fees if the request for rescheduling is received at our booking office by 10:00 am, 3 working days (not including Saturday/Sunday/Public holiday) prior to the course commencement.
  5. Requests to reschedule classroom or virtual classroom courses after 10:00 am, within 3 working days prior to the course commencement will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.
  6. If you arrive after the specified start time of your classroom or virtual classroom course you will be refused entry and rescheduling fees will apply.
  7. If valid photo identification is not provided by the student when required, access to training will be refused. This includes classroom, virtual classroom and online delivery.
  8. Refusal of entry to classroom or virtual classroom because of a breach of our Terms and Conditions will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.
  9. Transfer to another course delivery mode will incur admin fees (varied) e.g. Online to Classroom. (See our schedule on our website under our Courses & Prices page)
  10. BarMax (RTO 41242:1-AAA Barmax Pty Ltd) is permitted to locate my USI if there is an error validating my USI number.
  11. The use of mobile phones in class during training hours (breaks excluded), unless approved by the trainer is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will result in the students removal from class and forfeiture of their course fees.

  • The National VET Data Policy now requires all students undertaking any VET course requirements to acknowledge a Privacy Notice and Student Declaration.
