RCG Classroom Course
This unit of competency is the foundation for the mandatory Responsible Conduct of Gambling training for all new hoteliers, secretary managers and gaming-related staff in order to satisfy the requirements of the Liquor & Gaming Regulations of NSW.
Note: Barmax is not registered with CRICOS and as such unable to conduct training & assessment for students on a student visa (subclass 500) thus are not eligible for enrolment.
To ensure learners have the best possible chance at completing and understanding the required knowledge and skills the RCG course has a combination of plain English, photos, videos and questions.

Can I work straight after completing my course?
Once you have completed and passed your course it will take between 24 and 48 hours for you to receive your ‘interim certificate’. This certificate will enable you to work on licenced premises for up to 90 days. During this time you must apply for your Photo Competency Card by visiting your nearest Service NSW along with your Interim certificate which has a barcode that is scanned.
How do I get my Photo Competency Card?
You can apply for the Liquor and Gaming NSW (L&GNSW) Photo Competency Card at participating Service NSW outlets when you present your interim certificate and 100 points of identification.
The card cost of $41 is included in the course cost.
