Are you looking to break into the entertainment and hospitality industry?
Having the RSA and RCG licences will help you break into these industries as these are your minimum legal requirements to work in and around alcohol and gaming.

What to bring?
Bring a pen, and valid photo ID to each course i.e. driver’s licence, passport, student card or equivalent.
What do I wear?
Dress requirements for all theory courses are ‘casual’ but thongs and singlets are not permitted in any venue.
Dress requirements for all practical courses (Bar or Cocktail) are enclosed shoes. A failure to wear enclosed shoes would prevent entry to the course(s) and incur a rescheduling fee.
Not 18 yet?
No problem, you may attend all courses except Bar and Cocktail. Just check venue entry requirements.
What time to be there?
Attend all courses 15 minutes before the start time for course registration.
If you arrive after the nominated start time you will be refused entry which will incur a rescheduling fee of $50. See ‘calendar’ for start times.

The course is a 1 day workshop-style course that trains people involved in the licensed premises industry to be compliant with the current laws surrounding liquor and its service.
Once you have successfully completed the RSA course, you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment (RSA Certificate) and an Interim Certificate issued on the behalf of the Liquor & Gaming NSW in order for you to apply for your Photo Competency card.

The Responsible Conduct of Gambling course is a 1 day workshop style course, fully accredited and fully approved by Liquor & Gaming NSW, that has been designed for secretary managers, hoteliers, and staff of gaming venues in the New South Wales in order to satisfy the requirements of the Liquor and Gaming Regulations.
Upon completion of the Barmax course you will then need to complete a short assessment through Liquor and Gaming NSW in order to obtain your Interim certificate to apply for your Photo Competency Card.

Barmax practical Bar course: Gain the skills and confidence to work behind the bar in any venue. Learn how to pour beer, open and present wine, pour shots, mixed drinks and more, (Note this is not an RSA COURSE)

The BarMax Bar Skills Course is the course more employers recognise from people seeking bar work anywhere in metro Sydney, the Hunter, Illawarra and Central Coast Regions.
BarMax requires attendees to be 18 years of age or older for the Bar skills course and you will be asked to produce Identification at commencement of course.
Bar Certificate
BarMax bar skills courses are recognised by industry as of the highest standard. When you can produce a BarMax Certificate, you've shown that you can do all the essential tasks required to get work behind a bar or in licensed premises. Keep in mind - you will need your RSA and probably your RCG certificates as well.
