Cocktail Course

The BarMax cocktail course is a non accredited, dynamic and fun way to learn the skills and knowledge in preparing the most delicious and biggest selling cocktails made today. It’s all taught in a real bar situation (unlike many other courses where you play on tables with plastic buckets and pourers).

As you will be able to not only make, but TASTE these cocktails, you will need to be 18+ and will be asked to produce identification at the start of the course. As there is alcohol involved we suggest not to drive. Barmax practises the Responsible Service of Alcohol.

Our course is written by one of Australia’s top bartenders – Ben Blair – (check out his profile ) who not only distilled what is essential knowledge for anyone looking to make cocktails, but he also teaches it regularly. BarMax employs people of this calibre so that you get the absolute most out of the course and you will leave confident in your new skills, being able to stir, shake and muddle the tastiest drinks out!

A comprehensive booklet is provided, but most of the action is with your trainer (all are experienced Cocktail Bartenders), who will guide you through the processes and techniques required. In addition to the best techniques, you will be armed with an essential knowledge of ingredients – the basics of different spirits & liqueurs and a knowhow of where to use them!

This is the course to provide you with the base skills to extend your employment opportunities, the confidence to mix great cocktails at home and impress your guests or simply have a fun night out!
